Wat Pho

One of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bangkok, featuring a very large reclining Buddha statue (161 ft long!) adorned in glass and mother-of-pearl mosaics. Outside of the main building grows a Bodhi tree that was propagated from the original under which Siddartha Gautama sat when attaining enlightenment. This wat is also the birthplace of Thai massage, and the school still trains students today in the traditional medicine.
